Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Team

The Valerie Fund Children’s Center at Stony Brook Children's provides state-of-the-art diagnostics and treatments for children with cancer and blood disorders. Their multidisciplinary, family-centered approach addresses both medical and emotional needs, ensuring personalized care close to home. 

Services include advanced diagnostics, chemotherapy, surgery, radiation and specialized care for conditions like sickle cell anemia, hemophilia and leukemia. The center is also a full member of the Children’s Oncology Group, offering access to cutting-edge clinical trials and protocols.
