Cellular Therapies and CAR-T Treatment: Overview, Advances and Role in Treatment

Patients and caregivers are invited to attend this free, virtual education program to learn more about cellular therapies and blood cancer. Join Dr. Huda Salman, Director of Stony Brook Cancer Center’s Hematologic Malignancies Service and its CAR-T Cellular Therapy Program, as she provides an overview of cellular therapies, including CAR-T, and the role they play in blood cancer treatment.
A Q&A session will follow the presentation. Participants will also learn about support resources available locally and nationally through The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
