Welcome to SBCC’s Office for Community Outreach & Engagement event calendar. These cancer-related events are open to the public but may have limitations and/or require registration. They are either hosted by SBU or a member of SBU staff/faculty is participating in the event. Please click on the event you are interested in for additional details, including registration if it’s required and contact information for inquiries.   • Coming Out Day at the Farm

    Join us for the 6th Annual Coming Out Day Celebration with Stony Brook Medicine at the Suffolk County Farm!

    All are welcome to join us for family-friendly fun with wagon rides, crafts, animal experiences, music and more! Supportive resources will be available at the Stony Brook Medicine and community partner resource tables.

  • Block the Sun, Not the Fun!

    Join us for free skin cancer screening, sun safety education & activities, and free sunscreen and sun safety gear! Skin cancer screening will be conducted by Stony Brook Medicine Dermatology Associates. Event for all ages, with screenings for adults 18+ only.

    No registration required.
