A clinical trial is a research study that uses volunteers to discover better ways to prevent, diagnose or
treat cancer. Some examples of the types of trials, include:

  • new or improved treatments or medicines
  • new ways of providing or combining currently used therapies
  • matching patients and disease with the best treatments and medications
