A clinical trial is a research study that uses volunteers to discover better ways to prevent, diagnose or
treat cancer. Some examples of the types of trials, include:
- new or improved treatments or medicines
- new ways of providing or combining currently used therapies
- matching patients and disease with the best treatments and medications
