Research Interest

My work applies radiation physics and image science to advance diagnostic and interventional cancer care. 
Past and present efforts have investigated:

  • Dual readout flat panel x-ray detector for breast cancer detection and treatment monitoring
  • Hybrid direct-indirect flat panel x-ray detector system for high resolution, low-dose image guided interventions
  • Design and feasibility of an image-guided brachytherapy system using tomosynthesis
  • Personalized dosimetry for selective internal radiotherapies and systemic radioligand therapies
