By Car

From the Long Island Expressway

• TaketheLongIslandExpressway(I-495) to Exit 62 North, Nicolls Road (CR 97).
• Travel approximately eight miles, crossing Nesconset Highway (Route 347).
• At the third traffic light, turn right at the sign for “Stony Brook South Entance, East Campus” (Health Sciences Drive).

From 25A

• Travel south on Nicolls Road (CR97).
• At the third traffic light, turn left at the sign for “Stony Brook South Entrance, East Campus” (Health Sciences Drive).

By Bus

Please call Suffolk County Transit Bus at (631) 852-5200 for schedules and times of different routes to and from Stony Brook Cancer Center.

By Train

From Penn Station in Manhattan, take the Long Island Rail Road’s (LIRR) Port Jefferson line to Stony Brook. For a LIRR schedule, call (718) 217-5477 or visit mta.info/lirr.

Parking

Best Option – Use Valet Parking

Using Valet Service on Lauterbur Drive

For your convenience, the valet staff will greet you when you pull up to the front of the building. Valet services for patients at the Cancer Center are free.

• Turn left onto Edmund D. Pellegrino Road
• Bear left at the traffic circle and turn left onto Lauterbur Drive
• Follow Lauterbur Drive and bear right (One-Way sign) to enter the loop
• Pull in front of the Stony Brook Cancer Center entrance and the Valet staff will greet you

Hospital Parking Garage

• From Health Sciences Drive, turn left at the second traffic light and continue on Hospital Road
• Turn right to enter one of the ticket gate lanes.
• Take the ticket with you to our appointment to be validated (no cost for parking).
