Early detection is key to long-term survival rates of prostate cancer, which is why Stony Brook Medicine’s Department of Urology and Stony Brook Cancer Center offer free Prostate Cancer Screenings throughout the year, as part of our larger Prostate Care Program. Men at higher risk
and can benefit from these screenings are between 45 and 75 years old, African American, and/or have a family history of prostate cancer.
