2019 Stony Brook Cancer Center Breast Cancer Retreat

November 15, 2019
Noon – 5 PM
Hilton Garden Inn

Welcome to the 2019 Stony Brook Cancer Center Breast Cancer Research Retreat.

Please join us for a half day of research highlights from past and current recipients of the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Awards in talks and posters. This year we will also introduce the recent awardees of the Lynn November Breast Cancer Pilot Funds.

To round out the program, we will end the day with presentations from members of our clinical researchers on ongoing clinical studies and opportunities for translational and clinical breast cancer science. This will include a panel forum to encourage a discussion on outstanding clinical challenges specific to breast cancer and research opportunities.

We encourage faculty, student, and postdoctoral fellow participation from any discipline whose research interest is related to breast cancer to attend the retreat. The primary purpose of the retreat is to encourage new and innovative scientific collaboration toward ending breast cancer and its impact on our patients and their families. Awards will be given to trainees for best poster and short talk.
