We are happy to announce this year’s Cancer Center Research Retreat returns to an in-person event! Building on our goal of enhancing collaborations between basic and clinical scientists, the Retreat will feature presentations from our relatively new members. We have developed an agenda including four presentations from each of our Cancer Center’s Research Programs: Imaging, Biomarker Discovery and Engineering Sciences (IBES), Lipid Signaling and Metabolism in Cancer (LSMC), and Oncogenic Drivers and Mechanisms of Carcinogenesis (ODMC), with updates from the leaders of each program. Meanwhile, the leaders of the Translational Initiative in Population Sciences (TIPS) and Community Outreach and Engagement (COE) will introduce the mission, progress and overview of their respective activities. We will end the Retreat with a poster session, which will include research highlights from trainees, and the presentation of awards.
