Cancer Center Medical Student Summer Research Fellowships Application Form

Instructions:

 

1. Develop a brief, up-to one-page description of the project. The description should cover the goal of the project, what you'll learn / gain from being involved in the research, and its cancer relevance.
    
2. Provide your resume / c.v. (including contact e-mail address)
    
3. Provide a c.v. from your proposed mentor
    
4.  Provide a letter from your proposed mentor confirming their interest in having you train in their lab this coming summer.

The requirements to accept the funding are to spend at least 8 weeks in the lab on your project this summer, to provide a one-page report on the outcome of your experience at the end of the summer, and to attend and optionally present your results at the Cancer Center Retreat in the spring. 

We will activate the funding once work has commenced in the lab, which is anticipated to happen on June 5th.
