At Stony Brook Cancer Center, you will receive an individualized plan of care that takes into consideration not only your specific diagnosis, but also your family history, lifestyle and general health. Cancer care services can be complex. Because the process can be overwhelming with the volume of appointments and the number of questions that may arise, you will be assigned a nurse navigator to guide you through the entire process. She is your advocate and your first point of contact.
