Rock and Ride EventUnfortunately, WBAB and Stony Brook Cancer Center will not be able to host the 2020 Sticky Finger Motorcycle Run this year because of the COVID-19 crisis.

During these very challenging times, the needs of patients with cancer continue. As a high at-risk group during the COVID-19 outbreak, patients with cancer across LI need your help! Many of our patients are isolated more than ever before. Providing safe transportation to their treatments is critical. With your support, we can help them get lifesaving treatment.

Message from Fingers and WBAB On-Air Personalities
At a time when everyone needs to come together, we also need to be physically apart and out of our caring concern to keep all riders safe and well, the 2020 Sticky Finger Motorcycle Run has been postponed to 2021, But breast cancer doesn’t stop and neither will we! In lieu of the Run, WBAB is hosting the Fingers Virtual Rock n’ Ride To Recovery campaign starting on October 11, with a goal to raise $20,000!

During these very challenging times, the needs of patients with breast cancer continue. As a high at-risk group during the COVID-19 outbreak, patients with breast cancer across LI need your help! Many patients are isolated more than ever before. Providing safe transportation to their treatments is critical. With your support, we can help them get lifesaving treatment. Fingers Virtual Rock n’ Ride To Recovery campaign provides transportation to and from treatment at Stony Brook Cancer Center for women with breast cancer who do not have a ride or are unable to drive themselves.

How can you help?
By simply making a $20 donation and if you feel so moved, join me in solidarity by getting out and riding in any way you can, (motorcycle, bike, car and truck). In other words, let your hair in the air showing care for breast cancer survivors and loved ones lost. Feel free to share your ride with photos on Facebook with #FingersRockNRide

In return for your generous support, you will receive your choice of a commemorative patch or face mask.

Please join me in helping patients with breast cancer on Long Island, and show them that they may be isolated, but not alone. We can fight cancer together, even when we are apart.

Remember that Breast Cancer Awareness is NOT just for the month of October!
