Research Interest
Design and development of novel radiotracers for positron emission tomography (PET) for oncology and neuroscience. Projects involve drug discovery, PET radiotracer development, in vitro evaluation and in vivo studies in preclinical models including biodistribution, pharmacokinetics, and translational studies to clinical imaging. Our lab is actively developing anti-cancer therapeutics and theranostics for molecular imaging and radionuclide therapy for cancer. A major effort in our lab is focused on Cyclin D1 as a novel druggable target in Breast Cancer and the Class-IIa Histone Deacetylases for brain imaging.
