Research Interest
Dr. Cong's research pioneers the development of nanoscale and molecular-level drug delivery platforms for cancer therapy. Drawing on expertise in clinical pharmacology, biomaterials, immunotherapy, and nanomedicine, my work focuses on two distinct yet complementary areas.
First, he develops peptide-based drug delivery systems. This includes utilizing non-genetic cellular modification and in situ cellular engineering of tumor tissues, as well as developing AI-powered, personalized peptide drug conjugates for neoantigen-based immunotherapy.
Second, he engineers micro/nano-robotic medical systems for diverse therapeutic applications. This novel platform, encompassing cell, herbal-derived, and hydrogel microrobots, has demonstrated robust efficacy in treating urologic cancers across multiple models (including MB49, T24, UMUC3, 5637, and PDX orthotopic models).
