Join the celebration! We invite cancer survivors and their families and friends to our celebration, which honors those who are living with and beyond cancer, regardless of where they received treatment.

Community: The Ultimate Survival Tool  
Ethan Zohn is a former professional soccer player,cancer survivor, winner of the hit reality television show Survivor Africa, co-founder of Grassroot Soccer and two-time cancer crusher. As demonstrated by his charitable work, volunteerism, and community involvement, Ethan believes that a better and healthier world can be achieved through education, advocacy and inspiration.

Date: Sunday, June 3 • Time: 11 am - 3 pm

Schedule: 
11 am Guest Check-In  
11:30 am to 12:15 pm Speaker Presentation 
Location: Follow signs to the outdoor tent, located behind the Cancer Center. 
12:30 pm Registration for Activities and T-shirt distribution (to registered survivors only)
12:30 to 3 pm Outdoor Activities Dunk-a-Doc, Bedpan Golf, Chemo Bag Toss, Face Painting and a Fire Truck Visit. Musical entertainment and light refreshments provided.   
2 pm Parade of Survivors   

Location: Stony Brook Cancer Center • 3 Edmund D. Pelligrino Rd, Stony Brook, NY

All activities are free. Please note that only service animals are allowed at this event. Also, we cannot accommodate special dietary requests. For the safety and health of our guests, the Cancer Center is proud to be a tobacco-free facility both inside and out.
