Stony Brook Cancer Center offers advanced treatment and prevention programs with innovative therapies and leading-edge clinical trials for adults and children. The Outpatient Cancer Center encompasses two levels of the modern facility, where cancer experts work together in 12 multidisciplinary, disease-oriented teams to tailor a customized treatment plan for each patient. Basic science and translational research studies are conducted in the same facility, which provides an ideal collaborative environment for clinicians and scientists to investigate, discover and drive innovation in cancer treatment and prevention.
