Research Interest:
I am studying how disregulation in sphingomyelin synthesis can be linked to aggressiveness of lung cancer. In particular, I am interested on studying the role and function that Ceramide transfer protein (CERT) and sphingomyelin synthases (SMS1 and SMS2) have in the development and/or progression of adenocarcinoma lung cancer.
