My name is Laura Farrell and I am a certified oncology nurse navigator with the Genitourinary Oncology team at Stony Brook Cancer Center. As a nurse navigator, I serve as the liaison between patients and the complex network of cancer care. I help coordinate appointments with the surgical, medical and radiation oncology teams, as well as with support services. I explain procedures and unfamiliar terminology, so you have a full understanding about your treatment. I am here to answer your questions, check on your progress and address your concerns.
